Meaning of Life....

Life is learning, loving, and growing through experience. Life is evolving as an individual and as a collective soul. On one level, I am constantly redefining what life means. Yet, on another level, the meaning of life stands through the test of time. I once heard that in the beginning, the Creator lacked only experience and thusly created us. I know that we are aspects of the Divine having human experiences. I believe that our interests and passions are indicators of the experiences we were predestined to have; the rest is up to our choices.
meaning of life                Another aspect of life is service to others. I believe that in serving others and keeping the collective in mind, we serve ourselves. In this world, it may seem that the opposite is true, that serving yourself (or even lower energies) is the way to prosper. But connection to the soul is essential for true and lasting progression. Since we are one, life is about honoring your personal experience and mission while providing service.
Life is indeed interesting. I am constantly discovering layers of meaning. My advice to anyone seeking meaning is to explore an interest. It does not matter what that interest is. Your interest opens doors to new understanding. For example, if someone is interested in gardening, he or she can use that perspective to explore the meaning of life. Personally, I am interested in the education system. Although I am discovering shocking, potentially discouraging agendas of those in power, I am using my knowledge to reshape my own goals and my definition of life.
Life is an ongoing quest towards understanding, inner-standing, and over-standing; it is accelerated evolution of the soul through the rigorous course of human experience.

  1. When we serve ourselves, we are really serving our ego. The problem with that is we lose touch with our humanity. Our humanity is what connects us to each other. Ego disconnects us, so we are unable to feel how what we do hurts others. Ego does not care who it hurts, or how many it hurts (even us). It only wants power. It will judge, manipulate, and do violence to get that power. Ego is how people are able to hurt each other or even animals. The antidote is to stay in our humanity since that will provide feedback about what we are doing to others.
