I know the general term for taking risks is all or nothing but in the midst of these great risks I am taking right now I am not substituting “all” for “nothing”.
I am not, “playing not to lose” as Robert Kiyosaki stated in Rich dad, Poor dad. I am playing to win. Better yet let’s replace risk with leap of faith. For with faith comes certainty and certainty will most certainly produce your greatest results. The previously implied, risk is action on incredible faith.
Like most things there is a time and place when it’s time to take your leap. Almost all will think of failure but what most don’t know or are unaware of, is that most great people we know today have failed more times then they succeeded.
Now while the degree to their success may measure past there “failures” it still took time and persistence to perfect their greatness.
I know where the fear of failure stems from. The root of it is personal disappointment and public embarrassment.“Failure is an event, not a person” Zig Ziglar.
While there is much to learn from in disappointing results, public judgments should be the least of your worries. I have found that the people ready to “watch” me fail are the people I strive not to be. That is a success in itself. The same hands used to try to grip your ankles preventing you from floating to YOUR definition of the top, are the same griping there’s. Negative attitudes and action are produced from their experiences of life and THEIR personal struggles.
You work on YOUR freedom to take your leap and you will find the greatest reward is to attempt.
