Self Love
Self love is
reflected in the way we treat ourselves.
Are you eating the right foods? Are
you drinking enough water? Are your jeans too
tight?
Increasingly, my inner-light
is urging to shine fully. My body has been asking for light foods- earth foods,
already cooked perfectly by the sun. I’ve mostly been listening.
Yes, it’s
true, I just had a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, but I’m going to have
a spinach salad later.
I believe in the importance of self care and self love.
For me,
that means caring about each ingredient that goes into my body. Basic,
pronounceable components have been proving to work better and have better
effects than fancy products. We should even be mindful of what we put on our
bodies and in our hair.
We are, after all, letting those things into our bodies
through our pours.
To love yourself is: to forgive yourself, to care, to choose your friends wisely, to be gentle, to be driven, to keep going, to stop, to laugh, to play, to work, to give, to receive, and to know that -you are beautiful.
