Balanced Life

balanced lifeMy Balanced Life

Our lives are constantly changing and evolving.  We are always exposed to new experiences, new knowledge, and new life lessons.

In order to keep our center in this constant stage of evolution it is important to have a balanced life. What does a balanced life mean to you?

For me it is to be mentally, physically, and emotionally in synchronization.  I have several hobbies which keep me physically active: martial arts, dance, walking, and swimming, anything that keeps the body in motion.

When looking at mental stimulus I love to challenge myself—read, write, draw, and find a way to constantly learn something new.  For my emotional balance I have my core foundation of friends, family, people I can speak with and connect with.

Who are those people for you?  Ask yourself about all of these different areas.  Are you emotionally feeding your life?

I had my birthday yesterday and I felt happy to be exactly where I am at, being with who I am with, and loving life as I do.  It is something I hope for, for everyone out there.

A balanced life?

What is a balanced life?

A balanced life involves positive emotions, a clear vision of goals, and a core foundation of family or friends that love and support you. Emotions can either be the seeds of positive growth or the weeds of self-destruction. Running on negative emotions is like filling your car with used motor oil and expecting it to run at its best. Practicing forgiveness (ho’popolo), tapping (www.thetappingsolution.com) and/or meditation is like giving your body an oil-changed and yanking the weeds out by the root.

I personally do these things and it has changed my productivity, my attitude and automatically changed my thinking.  It was 1 million times easier to be positive after my inner cleansing.  You see, how can you expect the best when your body is carrying all that hurt from when you got the worst—all that luggage can’t come on THIS stand-by flight. When you’re ready pack light and bring only what you need. Only then will your life will take off….Next stop a clear vision of goals.  The more clear your goal the less time it takes to get it. You can tame a lion with a four legged stool because he cannot focus on a particular leg.  As a result, they stand frozen. Unfortunately, the same can happen to us when we try to focus on too many things—we freeze, or we might focus on the wrong things.

So choose your goals wisely.  It can promote greater action for a balanced life. Now you cannot share your goals and dreams with everyone.  I suggest if you don’t have a support group find one or share with a dreamer.  It’s so uplifting to share with someone as equally driven or positive.  Otherwise, anyone can cause you to doubt yourself and your mind does that enough for you (if you know what I mean).  So talk to the people who love who will support them every day.
