Overcoming insecurities

Overcoming insecurities (RE-POST)

Mirror, mirror  on the wall, can you tell me my worth? Can you tell me who I am? Can you tell me what I am? And what I am meant to do? I stand naked in front of you and I see my imperfections. I see why you will never tell me I am the fairest of them all. I don’t look like a model. God! I don’t even look like the girl next door.
I look in the mirror and I see a little girl with tears streaming down her face, nose dripping, and eyes bloodshot. And I want to scream why?! Why do you hate me?! God, why am I so wrong?! What the hell is so wrong with me?!

The answer is silence of course. If you have ever heard the divine speak it’s in whispers and in this state, they wait until I have cried the self-pity out of my system. Standing and holding me with unwavering faith, the ego will shut-up and sense will return. Then the loving words come:

“Little one, look again. Look in your eyes. Look with the eyes of love.”

Then when the deluge happens it is because I see beauty and I see perfection. There is only one Jenna, there is only one soul with these talents, strengths, and weaknesses. There is only one me!

The tears now stem from joy, gratitude, and relief. I was destined to be this woman with these scars and wounds. They do not make me ugly. They make me strong and so damn beautiful. I would not change my past. I would not risk not being me. But each day, I look in the mirror and I see my evolving spirit. As I choose to walk this path made just for me, I see the shadows leave and more of my radiance comes though.

Are you hiding in your shadows, are you denying your light? When you look in the mirror who do you see?

I slowly am now seeing the blinding light that I AM. My eyes are acclimating. I promise you that if you look in the mirror, really look, you will see a beautiful child of the divine.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?

Rock Bottom

ROCK BOTTOM

“They gave me a life that’s not so easy to live and then they sent me on my way
I left my love and forgot my dreams; I lost them along the way...
And what do I get to get me through these sleepless nights?
And what do I have to hold when no one’s there to hold me tight?
And what do I see the only thing that gets me through?
This is what I feel and I feel you.”
“I feel you”-3 doors down

I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have struggled to find a way up; away out of this “hell” I have found myself in again. Sometimes you feel so helpless, so out of control with what is happening in our lives. There just doesn’t seem to be away out. But somehow I always manage to move on and keep going, sometimes I even feel like I got ahead and doors are magically opening for me. Maybe because I am just to dam stubborn to give up. But in truth I think we all have the power and strength to move mountains. We were put here at this time for a reason, to do something, our soul’s purpose.

As it says in the quote above, "they, (including you) gave me this life that’s not so easy to live and sent me on my way." Yes, "sent" on your way but I believe with the experiences to give you the tools you need to get the job done. You can choose how you experience these lessons, if you let them they will cripple you and stop you from succeeding in your purpose or they can bring closer. Think of how much pressure a diamond needs to be under to become what it needs to truly shine.

“I'm tired of living in the dark, Can anyone see me down here
The feeling's gone, there’s nothing left to lift me up
Back into the world I've known. 'Cause now again I've found myself
So far down, away from the sun. That shines into the darkest place
I'm so far down, away from the sun. That shines to light the way for me
To find my way back into the arms. That care about the ones like me
I'm so far down, away from the sun again”
-3 doors down, “Away from the sun”

So the real question comes to the forefront are you willing to do the work, are you going to let someone or something determine your worth or what you can accomplish in your life. Or are you going get stubborn and say “F@*k you, I’m stronger than that.”

rock bottom

One of my favorite sayings in “Suck it up buttercup” not because I am insensitive to my own needs or the struggles of others but because I have seen so many time people haunted, by their past and they run from everything and never see their own strength because they never stand up for themselves.

Never love themselves enough to stop and see what they can do. Past is the past, how many conflicts both personally and globally could we fix or stop, in the present, if we could just let go of the past. You can’t change it, but you can change how you feel about it. So instead of hating yourself for your choices or someone else for their behavior let it go and set yourself free. Because Rock bottom is a hard place to be, it kills the spirit and deigns hope.

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” Khalil Gibran

Two of my favorite saying that I think about when I am struggling is first the Serenity Prayer:

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.”
Reinhold Niebuhr

The second is:

“All is well, in my world. Everything is working out for my highest good. Out of this situation only good will come. I am safe”
Louise L Hay

I suggest you find your go to quotes or music, whatever speaks to your soul that helps you pick yourself up, and suck it up. Letting the past be the past focusing in the present and knowing that the future is yet unwritten and you can by your choices make it a heaven on earth. And I leave with this quote by one of my heroes: Helen Keller.

"Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light."

Falling back into the arms of grace!

The arms of grace...

arms of grace

I remember when I was about 11yrs old, at a church youth group, our pastor Steve asked me to come forward and help him demonstrate an act of trust. I didn’t know what he meant by that but I knew I could trust him not by virtue of what he was but by WHO he was! So up I go, and he says just fall back, I will catch you, we do this 3 times and the last time, he let me fall to about 3 inches about the ground before he caught me. I remember just a thrill of fear but before it could bloom, he had caught me and restored me to standing. Save and sound.

This memory resurfaced recently while talking to a new friend and she was saying that when she is trying to create something and it’s not going as she wants; she visualizes herself falling back and letting go. It really struck home with me, let go and let God (divine), falling back into the arms of grace.

“Why can’t we surrender to some other way? We can come together on some other day. We won’t be lost forever. Help to ease my mind. Oh not just bigger and better. Its belief I have got to find.” Lindsay Fergason

One of my favorite things that Dr Wayne Dyer talks about is that we can trust that all of our needs will be met. He explains this by pointing out that for the first 9 months of our lives that everything is provided. We are snug and securer in our mother’s womb. And then he poses the question that if God provides so well for us then would he not provide for us outside of the womb as well, for the rest of our lives?

“I come into the peace of the wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief... For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.”
Wendell Berry

I promise that if you allow it and open your perception to see it, you will know that you have never endured a moment of existence where grace was not there to lift you up, and care for you! It is in the not letting go where we block ourselves; we can choose a better way, full of possibilities and safety nets.

Again manifesting is transmutation, changing something undesirable to something desirable. The Kyballion explains that; “mind may be transmuted from state to state; degree to degree, condition to condition, vibration to vibration. True hermetic transmutation is a mental act.” We know how to do this: make a decision of what we want; remove obstacles and blocks (that is the work part); see it, feel it and know it to already be here. Cultivate a sense of gratitude and the final part, and in my mind the hardest, let go detach to from the outcome and allow. If you do the work, by getting out of your own way, and letting go. You will get what you want or better, sometimes the better, has a sting but in hindsight it is always better.

“The mystic surrenders to the flow of god’s love, knowing that it flows naturally in the direction of the highest good of all. There is a spiritual beneficence at the centre of the universe. And as we gain though experience, more and more faith in that basic goodness. We learn to give up our efforts to control and instead begin to deeply trust.” Marianne Williamson

I know we can learn to let go and let God. Fall back into the arms of grace and cultivate a faith in ourselves that we will take the next right step, when it is presented. But other wise to rest, trustingly in the arms of the divine. So breath with me, let go and fall back into the arms of grace.

Self Love

Self Love -No one is coming to save you!

self love

Self love; do you know why they call it self love, because it is you doing the work, the healing, and the loving.

No one is coming to save you! No one is coming in a shining suit of armor, or is going to love you OUT of being a "beast". Just you, that’s all you got, and truly that’s who you need.

If you can’t learn self love and except yourself, all of you, no one outside you is going to be able to love you enough. It will never permeate though the hard shell you have protecting your heart. It’s doomed to fail, because only you can release the wall, and let love in.

Some of us have deep wounds, the ones I like to call sacred, the ones that come from having lived though great trials of the spirit. Fears the hunt us, and shadows that stand over our shoulders and block the light, even our own inner light. And if we don’t learn to self love our hurts, our wounded parts of ourselves, we will never truly know the gentle sure embrace of true love.

“Some of us don’t have relationships, we just take hostages.”-Anonymous

I don’t think any of us want to do that to anyone else or to ourselves. To make someone a hostage. So stand up for yourself, accept yourself as you are now not how you wish to be.

You are so precious; treat yourself with kindness and care. Exorcize your demons, laugh in the face of your fears. No one is going treat you worse then you yourself, so stop and treat yourself with devotion. Know that your self love is the most precious thing you have to give!

“Got a heavy love, rolling like thunder, coming from above, make sure you’re under, falling like rain, burning like fire, Got a heavy love. Do you think you’re strong enough?”
Serena Ryder

Step up, take risks show your self love, hell we all know that unrequited love is a bitch! But even if they’re not the one, by speaking up and showing up, you are showing the universe and proving to yourself that you are ready for love. And by keeping it to yourself, you are basically saying: “I am not good enough” or “I don’t deserve love.”

“Ever tried? Ever failed? No matter try again, fail again, fail better.”
Samuel Beckett

Most of us know the joke about the old man who kept praying to win the lottery. And when he died and got to heaven he complains to God that he never won. Then God replied, "Son, you never bought a ticket."

So go buy your dam ticket, take a risk for yourself, stand in possibility for love. Start with self love, then acting and being the person you need to be to have this great love. Don’t sabotage your dreams before they have a chance to grow.

“It is safe to love and be loved in return, I am safe.”

Breaking your own heart

Are you breaking your own heart?
“And even with the light all around you
You're all alone in the dark.
You're breaking your own heart
Taking it too far down the lonely road
You say it's just one love
But when it's close enough you just let it go
The very thing you've been the most afraid of
You've been doing it from the start,
Jennifer Hanson/Michael Logan

How long have you been breaking your own heart?

How long have you been trying to create something new, something beautifully profound, but creating it the same old way?

breaking your own heartIf you use rotten or warped wood to build a house, what do you get? An unsafe building that will fall on you!  So how do you think can create a deep authentic lasting love, if you are creating it with the patterns you have used in all of your failed and unfulfilled relationships of the past. You can’t, you have to die to the old way of being, and grow a stronger, more whole you.

Albert Einstein said that the “definition of Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

I know that change is scary; I have felt this terror many times. In my professional life I have met many clients who are more willing to lose their legs then stop smoking or change their diet (to improve blood glucose readings). So the fundamental question is what are you, willing to give up or lose to bring a strong healthy love into your life? Are willing to give up old ways of being and thinking, patterns you have acted out for most of your life. Patterns are made of behaviors supported by recurring thoughts.

Are you willing to stop breaking your own heart?

“The bottom line for everyone is, “I’m not good enough” It’s only a thought and a thought can be changed.” Louise L. Hay

The love that most of us want, crave really, is a deep true love. Where you are seen, heard and met on the same level. Where we create an atmosphere that celebrates you and your beloved’s uniqueness and honors the combined strength and beauty you bring to each other by your commitment. I believe that each of us was created with an unending capacity to love and be loved, but we stand helpless as one after another relationship fails.

What false love identity are you living from, in that small painful moment in your childhood what falsehood about yourself did you make true?

Did you decide you where unworthy, invisible, bad, a burden, a failure, etc.
I don’t know what made you as a child decide on this false love identity. It may have been well meaning parents, who were busy trying to provide for you that made you feel “invisible” or maybe it was dysfunctional parents caught up in the throes of an addiction who made you feel “bad”. The variations are endless, but when we live from an unhealthy love identity. We call in partners that confirm this false belief about ourselves. I’m not suggesting we do this cognitively. But unconsciously we call people who make us feel like home, and we for them.

“This thing of darkness, I acknowledge as mine.” Shakespeare

But you can choose to not act from this broken understanding of yourself. Because truly you where never broken to start with. You just tried to make sense of life and interpreted though the lens of a child. I believe that we can make a heaven on earth if we want, from a stronger more whole self. One that knows that they are a miracle created by the divine, there is no flaw in you! The very concept of God is that God is infallible therefore logic dictates in truth you are perfect because for God to make something less than perfect, would make God less than God.

It is our choice to live beneath our potential; we can choose to dim our light. It is living from this true knowledge of ourselves that allows us to change our thought and therefore create new patterns of behavior.

So take a deep breath, sheet of paper and a pen, the journey starts here. Start to look at your life, dig deep be brutally honest with yourself:
What is your pattern, what thinking has got you here?

It’s time to stop breaking your own heart...

And start thinking and acting from a stronger healthier sense of self. I will stand in possibility with and for you. We will hold space and one day soon you will know the embrace of your beloved. Made from your dreams and the most amazing part you will be the partner of their dreams too. Sending angels winging toward you, to love and support you though these changes. To hold you, encourage you despite any fears or limitations you think you have. They believe in you and I believe in you, No one was created to be alone.

Perspectives on the Self

Perspectives

Perspectives on the Self

We all have a unique perspective, a unique vibration. One way you may like to explore and understand is by looking at your name, birth date, and time. Many cultures have developed ways to determine potential tendencies, strengths and weakness.

For example, we can look at my charts:

I was born March 11, 1975 at 10:12 pm in Kingston, Canada therefore:

·         In western Astrology; I am a Pisces with Scorpio rising.
·         My moon is Pisces as well.
·         In Chinese astrology; I am a wood/wood rabbit
·         In Celtic moon; I am an Ash Tree
·         In Mayan; I am Caban with the vibration of two.
·         In Numerology; I have the life path of 9

And recently I learned I am a Queen of Diamonds in Meta-symbology, with a queen of spades backing her up, (thanks Jeanie.)

So what does all of this mean? Good question, if you look at all of these things you will find commonalities.  The most salient points are: I am a compassionate, sensitive, and creative philanthropist. Who has had hard times and a backbone of titanium. Who is made to help make the world a better place!

Now, would my inner voice have the same vibration? If I had the same experiences but different name and dates? I don’t know, I guess that is a chicken and the egg question.  But I do know is that not everything would fit. But some of the points are windows to my soul.

So if you’re curious to find out what they say about you. Find one that appeals to you, I am sure there is more out there than I have found. Go with what speaks to you, what feels right in your belly.
You may find a confirmation of your inner most voice, a window to your soul in your charts.

Burning House

burning house Burning House

A couple of years back a dear friend of mine named Mary, told me I needed to read a very special book: "The Disappearance of the Universe" By Gary R. Renard.

She told me this book was like a close version of A Course in Miracles which I had been trying to get through for years. I found miracles in the pages but only after I had dealt with the insuring crises after reading it.

It was a crisis of spirit, if you will, a dark night of the soul. I questioned who I was, what I was doing in my life. That I had spent so much time trying to help myself and others. And if the whole premises of the universe is simply to wake up from the dream, that our reality is really is just a dream, then we really don’t need to heal anything or manifest anything. Because none of it is real.

So as a healer, as crystal therapist, as angel messenger, what am I doing if it is all an illusion? Well this is how I explained it and made sense of myself and my life: We are all at different levels and different understandings and therefore we need to assist ourselves and others, by being a light in the dark.

I wrote this to explain it to myself. And I hope it helps you understand the role that we can play for each other.

Burning house. We are all in a burning house. And most of us are all so asleep we don’t realize this.

Normally when in a house that is burning we say, "GET OUT! Get out now!" But in this burning house people can’t see it’s on fire. They can’t hear the fire alarm. So what do we do?
We need people to man the exit doors and to help move the furniture, to make it easier to get to the exits. To help people to calmly and smoothly exit.

So we need to light the way, by following our own path to awakening by being the best we can be at being ourselves.

We need to stand together to light the way as lighthouse in the dark.

“The world you see is an illusion of a world. God did not create it, for what he creates must be eternal as himself. Yet there is nothing in the world you see that will endure forever.”A Course in Miracles CL 85

Our Home, Our Life, Our Choice: My Wish

Our Home, Our Life, Our Choice: My Wish

my wish

We are facing uncertain times my friends. We have crisis everywhere, in every sector. But don’t worry, don’t fret. Just know that it is time to act now. Not from a sense of fear but with a sense of purpose. It is time to live from the truest sense of yourself--To speak with your authentic voice. There was a reason you were born at this time and with the talents you have. You need to follow your passion with out hesitation or doubt.

Recently, I was handing out my resume to make my great leap of faith to follow my purpose.  As I started, I said to my best friend that I was terrified, that part of my brain was demanding to know what the hell I was doing taking chances like this for. The other part of my brain was rejoicing because I was finally going to fly.
I was wondering what would happen if we all started to live from our higher self without delay what could we create. What would we see?
Come with me on a magical journey to the future I believe we can create.
A planet of pristine beauty, of clean air and water, a place of healthy ecosystems and co-existence. Live in a place where the earth, animals and humans are healthy and at peace. It would be wonderful to live in a place with an even distribution of resources: clean free energy that all people can use with no harm to others or the environment and a sharing of technologies so there is no difference in standard of living, only in how people choose to live.

And lastly, I see a time where we are not blind to color of skin or religion, or nationality or culture but instead, we celebrate each other in the uniqueness that each person brings to the mix. I call this divine sight, to be able to see the unique fragrance each human brings to the garden.
“In Utopia, where every man has a right to everything, they all know that if care is taken to keep the public stores full, no private man can want anything; for among them there is no unequal distribution, so that no man is poor, none in necessity; and though no man has anything, yet they are all rich; for what can make a man so rich as to lead a serene and cheerful life, free from anxieties.”
-Thomas Moore, Utopia
My wish is this for us, a chance to really live peaceful and have healthy lives. To come away from crisis not burned but learned, to grow up and therefore grow into our potential.

The Magic Pill

The Magic Pill

the magic pill

I have been a nurse for going on 16 yrs. now and I am joyfully leaving it behind in the summer to pursue a more complementary approach to health and healing. I still want to help people and be of service, but I have come to feel that western medicine is just putting a band aid on the true problems we are having. Therefore as a result, clients are not becoming healed. Illness or "dis-ease" is ALL IN YOUR HEAD.

Always has been always will be. No matter what medical procedure is done on you, if you do not change your thoughts and thereby your energetic frequency, you will never heal. If you believe that you are cured but don’t change how you think and feel about yourself, you will recreate the same or similar disease.

“If the cancer or any illness returns, I do not believe it is because they did not “get it all out,” but rather that the patient has made no mental changes. He or she just recreates the same illness, perhaps in a different part of the body.” Louise L. Hay.

The above quote is from You Can Heal Your Life, a book that was first published 28 yrs. ago and has sold more than 50 million copies. If you do not have a copy, I would highly recommend it. This book alone has changed my life and understandings of my own body. As well as how I influence my own life and health. Louise was a pioneer in metaphysics, before it was cool. By reading Louise’s books, I have learned so much about positive affirmations and really looking at what I say to myself or about myself.

Some of my negative believes about myself as with so many others started in childhood. And because of the fermented nature of these long held believes there needs to be a purging of them before the positive affirmations can be planted firmly.

If you will: to plant a garden of wonderful healthy food or beautiful flowers you need to weed the ground. You may find it silly or unbelievable to say, "I am of perfect health." So as Abraham Hicks says, "Reach for the best thinking thought you are able to." So instead maybe you can say: I am healthier or I am stronger.

The key is post and in the present tense. One of my favorite ways to remove old negative believes, I have been fortunate to be introduced to is EFT or Nick Ortner tapping solution. Please check out Nick Ortner tapping solution for more information. I have lent this DVD both to clients and friends. One of the best tools I have come a crossed: www.thetappingsolution.net

So in conclusion, there a magic pill -- really it is a Magic Thought. I believe, a knowing that you can be healthy because you choose to be and all else comes from that. If you do not believe you can be healthy you will sabotage yourself with what you eat or by being in too much pain to exercise.  I feel that eventually western medicine will evolve past it’s plateau and there will be a realization that they are not the gods of healing but rather the midwives of positive thoughts and beliefs that our clients hold about themselves.

The Light Within

light within

The Light Within

“Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” -E. E. Cummings

I personally have struggled with learning to have confidence in myself and truly it can be a daily struggle at times.  I honestly don’t think I am alone in this struggle. So over time, I have started a new view that when I feel inadequate or less than what I think I need to be, I fake it. And I fake it knowing that I am capable of really doing it or being it by the simple virtue of divine belief in myself.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine.” -Marianne Williamson

We all were created with talents and skills, capacities and flaws, and we are unique. No one else has quite the same mix of ingredients and we are cooking in the environment we are born into. So whether you are an angel cake, devils cake, pie even a flan, there is no one else like you and no one can do the job; your job you were sent to do. So be of good cheer, breathe in the knowledge and know that even when you doubt yourself others believe in you.

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.” -Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

So my friends, let your
light within shine even when you doubt your own strength, beauty or abilities. It is when we allow our true self to shine though the doubt you get to really see how effulgent you truly are. I am confident, that divine has given me all that I need to be me and I will shine doing it.

Power

Balance in Power

Power is an interesting concept. People have killed millions of other souls to attain more power. The power to control others land, money, oil, and other resources…even rape is not about sex but about having power over another. As a society we are obsessed with power.

“Power is always dangerous. Power attracts the worst and corrupts the best.”

-Edward Abbey

Power
is both desired as well as feared. Can it be put to a greater use and in turn help humanity? Of course, even the self-help industry is focused on power but the difference is the power to rule nations and domination of resources vs. the power to live a truly authentic life with strength and love.
The one most important concepts I have learned related to power is locus of control.

Locus of control is a theory in personality psychology referring to the extent to which individuals believe that they can control events that affect them. Understanding of personality psychology concept was developed by Julian B. Rotter in 1954, and has since become an aspect of personality studies. A person's locus (Latin for "place" or "location") can be either internal (meaning the person believes that they control their life) or external (meaning they believe that their environment, some higher power or other people control their decisions and their life). -British Journal of Psychology

An expression of personality in one of the extremes is not a matter of good vs. bad. People who have a strong self-determination tend to have an internal LOC. Those who believe strongly in a higher power tend to have an external LOC. Neither of these positions are wrong and they are not mutually exclusive. It is in co-creating between individual and the divine that we reach are greatest potential. The negative side of external is a victim mentality and the negative side of internal is domination to achieve your own goals at the expense of others. I believe by finding the middle ground where you see and use your talents and gifts to reach your goals.  At the same time it is important to ask for guidance and help when necessary, we can truly uncover and live at our highest potential.

Why are we masters of our fate, the captains of our souls—because we have the power to control our thoughts and our attitudes. That is why many people live in the withering negative world. That is why many people live in the positive faith world.
-Alfred Mont pert.

If you wish to find out your natural tendency follow the below link:

Whether you have an internal or external LOC, the most important question is how are you making your choices? Is the belief of society, your family, friends, making decisions for you? Are your decisions being made from an Id point of view? Are you ignoring the impact on others? How are you using your power? Are you improving the world and yourself or are you detracting from it?

The Best Compass for Decision Making

The Best Compass for Decision Making

As we approach the Easter holiday, many people will be contemplating the life of Jesus. Some people will be feeling gratitude, others guilt but what I would like to suggest is love.

“You have so little faith in yourself because you are unwilling to accept the fact that perfect love is in you, and so you seek without for what you cannot find within.” (p.293) ACIM

I was raised as a Free Methodist; my mom was very strict--related to the tenets of our faith. I remember being happy and content with this as a child but as I became a teenager, I felt disconnected. I was a woman and I was taught that I was the weaker sex, less intelligent, and not capable of the heights of spirit as the males in my life. I rejected that the God that created me would be so cruel to limit my connection with him due to the sex he made me. So when I was 14, I started my search for a belief that recognized my worth and permitted the growth of my spirit.

Fast forward many years, in 2001, I had one of the most terrifying experiences and one of the most beautiful realizations in my life. I was working with a disabled young man as nurse doing Reiki. I was beginning to learn about Angel Therapy. My main focus was developing my spirituality. I had found a beautiful place with God/Goddess/Universe interacting with the Angels and Ascended Masters on a daily basis. I was very happy with where I was but spirit had something to teach me. I can be stubborn at times, so of course to get through to me they had to go big.

I was in a great mood that day. It was the first day I had my new car  and as I left work the car did not  move as I pressed the gas, it was stuck. So I hit it and I hit it hard. What followed was screaming, crying and lot of praying and in the end it digressed to swearing. I know it was maybe only about 5 mins. in total but not being able to stop the car engine revving so high and loud, I went though stop signs and a set of lights, luckily green. I had never been more scared. I called on all the Angels: Arch Angel Michael, Ganesha, (the over comer of obstacles), anyone I thought would help. And the car was still out of control. I had never had spirit fail me, so then I got MAD and I started to swear at the top of my lungs. I screamed “Jesus Christ, help me!” He and I both knew I was swearing but desperation had got me to call on Jesus and he helped me the instant the words left my lips. The car reverted to normal. As soon as I could I pulled over and just cried. I was so grateful I was positive I was going to die. Spirit wanted me to see I could call on Jesus. It is not only Christians that revered Jesus as a teacher and a healer. He is mentioned in Muslim and Buddhist texts, as a great man.

Whether you believe that Jesus was the only son of God or not, it is up to you but I would like to direct you to some of his teachings. You will find the same message in the gospels, Gnostic gospels, A.C.I.M., or the book of Mormon.  If you take away all of the dogma and the different views of the different faiths you will find his message is love: to love God, to love each other and of coarse to love yourself. Love is the compass I would like to suggest.

Ask:
  1. If I do this am I being loving towards myself?
  2. If I do this am I being loving towards others in my life?
  3. If I do this am I being loving towards God/Divine?
  4. If I do this am I being loving towards the animals?
  5. If I do this am I being loving towards the environment?
If you can answer yes I am being loving, then do whatever it is you wish because it will only benefit us all.
“Love will immediately enter into any mind that truly wants it.” (p. 55) ACIM

Jesus and I are now friends. I have read many books about his life and some of my favorite are from Margret Starbird. Our relationship is ever evolving. When I call his name, I immediately feel a deep sense of peace, love and warmth. He is helping me become a more loving and stronger healer. I now happily sit at his feet learning the miracles of love. I have learned I never needed to throw out the baby with the bath water. I was never limited because of my sex from Jesus.  It was others that added that dogma.

“Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-10

Manifesting love

Manifesting Love

manifesting love

The above quote epitomizes the process we go though in calling in the “one” course. It is a profound journey through the labyrinth of both your conscious and unconscious mind, in relation to love.
Start to walk-the-walk of love in everyday life, after you have purged your wounded ego, you move forward living life as love is fulfilled. As most of us know when we are trying to manifest something into our life, we need to be a vibrational match or if you will on the same frequency of that which we wish to have. So in the case, of manifesting love, we need to live life being in love every day.
One of the ways I do this is by sending love letters through the guardian angels of my beloved, I speak with him daily and I know he receives my messages wrapped in angel wings. Below is an example, you can say anything you wish.

Poor out your heart, just remember to stay positive in your thoughts and intentions.

Beloved,

I have loved you all of my life. I was created to love you and you me. I feel you already in my life: whispered words on the wind, a sense of pressure on my skin, a hint of aftershave when I open the door. Your light walks my halls. Your laughter fills my heart. Simple grace permeates our life together. The hand of the divine rests on top of our joined ones.
We are safe in the harbor of our love.
My darling, I love you to the greatest depth of my soul.
I vow to grow in love each day; gratitude is the color of each moment with you.
Angels bring my love to him; help my beloved to remember me. To know our love is a divine right. Help him to open to love.
Thank you for each opportunity to grow in love, for each new person to practice with.
Thank you.

Each of us is meant to be happy and know love, to feel divine peace in our life’s, so to not be afraid to reach for it. There is nothing more important or beautiful than love.

The Cut of the Growing Edge

The Cut of the Growing Edge

Humans have an uncanny way of always choosing the hard road to learn. Sometimes I look back at my life and I think hey I knew better. Of course I knew better. So why didn't I listen to my gut, so I didn’t turn into this broken heart'ed girl again?

“Snow White: Why did I let her in? Didn't I know she was bad? I did. Of course I did. But I also knew that I couldn't keep the door closed all my life just because it was dangerous. Just because there was a chance that I might get hurt.”

I wish I knew the answer. I think we all would like to choose the less painful road but if we still are struggling without 20/20 vision at least we can learn from our mistakes. In the last 2 yrs., I have been doing a lot of work on myself. I first did the “Calling in the One” course for myself before I took the coaching course. It was due to my incredible growth that I decided to pursue coaching.

In calling in the “One” we talk a lot about our growing edge. What I mean by this is where instead of making negative meaning from something that has happened to us. We try and look for the lesson to be gleaned. Therefore, we are always growing stronger and closer to our goal instead of blaming ourselves or others for our disappointments.

And of course sometimes that is harder, doing it then just giving lip serves. An example from my own life is upon the dissolution of my last relationship. I was completely bereft I was at the bottom of the rope holding on with nails. And to be frank, I honestly was only coping due to my 2 month old little girl that I had to take care of. Abby was sunshine bottled up in this little tiny body. I am so grateful for her neediness. It drove me to live and in time to grow again.

I had known for a long time that the relationship wasn’t in mine or my partner’s best interest, trying to love someone into something they’re not is not healthy for either party. But I remember telling friends I love him, sadly I now realize that though you may love, if you don’t have core beliefs and dreams in common, you’re in a no win situation, and to perpetuate it, you’re only harming both of you.

So, I am so grateful for his spectacular ending to our 10 and half year relationship. It meant I could never go back; my only choices were to die or grow. Thank god I chose to grow. I learned so much from that relationship and of course none of it was bad. Most important thing I learned was my own worth is god given. No man or anyone else can give it to me or take it away. But I can choose to be blind and not see it. I believe that not seeing ours truly, is in epidemic proportions in our world. Our measuring sticks are flawed, and as result we diminish ourselves and what we are capable of.

“Snow White: You're cold. You're cold, Virginia. How did you become so cold? You are still lost in the forest. But lonely, lost girls like us can rescue themselves. You are standing on the edge of greatness.” -The Tenth Kingdom

So my dear friends, when you are broken, bleeding or simply just frustrated look at your life, look for the lesson and grow. It’s ok to fail; it’s ok to get broken again. But if you don’t choose to grow there is no life.
